Jazz Matters Blaxk.jpg
It is important to promote Jazz and celebrate the likes of Miles DavisChet BakerHerbie Hancock, and Sonny Rollins, as well as the big stars of today and the new breed of Jazz stars of tomorrow. By promoting Jazz, it allows more people to appreciate Jazz, especially the young who will help keep the appreciation of Jazz for future generations. Between 2018 and 2019 Spotify told the Guardian that about 40% of jazz listening on the streaming website is done by people under 30, with the percentage holding steadily since 2014. This shows a great underlining of interest in Jazz by our youth. As an Industry, Jazz has to find ways to harvest this underlining interest.

“It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge” — Albert Einstein.
"In a gentle way, you can shake the world.” – Mahatma Gandhi."

Here at The Jazzsippers Consortium, we know that sometimes all it takes to bring about change is a little support. Since our founding, we have been determined to make an impact. The core of our efforts is to bring member’s fresh ideas and passion to a range of activities we all can get involved in. Through all of our member's endeavors we hope to display the conviction behind our collective passion, Jazz.

Is Jazz Dead?

A great piece, that every Jazz Advocate should read, to get a better understanding and a solid footing of the Jazz industry through the prisms of Jazz Back Then; Right Now; and Yet to Come!

The Advocacy Check-List

At The Jazzsippers Consortium, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing this issue. Support is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we   believe we can facilitate progress      in this area.

through The Jazzsippers Consortium Promotion of Jazz Appreciation Initiative. By helping and offering Jazzsippers who want to have a monthly community Jazz  theme-based print newspaper.

Through the licensing of our Flagship Newspaper The Jazzsipper Reprint News that is accompanied with 80 revenue generating ad spaces, and e Newspaper Version; in which all revenue generated, the participating Jazzsippers get to keep outside the cost of production and licensing.

Promote Jazz Appreciation

through local communities. With a free 10,000 cirulation; 20 page; 11’’x14’’; monthly Jazz themed Newspaper with a readership of 25,000, that is distributed within the local area, with the added bonus of helping to revitalize Jazz, and exposing it to a much wider audience. Now, you maybe thinking that internet does this already, but with the internet, one must make a conscious decision to search for it. But, with the print Newspaper they do not have to, they can be placed everywhere.

We are always striving to make a        difference, and invite you to             learn more and lend your support.
